Job Description:
As a Technical Writing Intern, you will assist in creating, editing, and managing documentation for GAO TEK’s products and services. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in technical communication and content development in a global technology environment.
Responsibilities:
Create and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and product datasheets.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather information.
Format and update existing documentation to meet company standards.
Conduct research on technology trends and products.
Assist with creating content for blogs, white papers, and marketing materials as needed.
Review product specifications and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Utilize tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online content management systems.
Requirements:
Strong command of English (written and verbal).
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Interest or background in technology, engineering, or related fields.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Optional but a plus: Experience with technical writing tools like Markdown, LaTeX, Adobe Acrobat, or HTML/CSS.
