Mobile Application Developer Intern (Paid Summer Internship)
About Vitanya:
Vitanya was founded in Scottsdale Arizona in 2012. We have now grown to 20 locations in 6 states. Additionally, we provide programs to anyone, anywhere through our remote and mobile capabilities. In 2019, we provided 28,000 brain performance sessions internationally.
We primarily focus on providing products, technology, and services supporting subtle neural communication on the electrical and chemical levels. A revolution in modern neuroscience reveals how to maximize healthy brain function.
Internship Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Mobile Application Developer Intern specializing in iOS and Android development for our Paid Summer Internship program. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, develop practical skills, and gain hands-on experience working with a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for both iOS (Swift) and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly apps.
• Contribute to writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews and implement automated testing strategies.
• Troubleshoot application bugs and address performance issues.
• Learn and apply industry best practices and stay current on new mobile technologies.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing/completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-3 years of experience in iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Java or Kotlin) development are preferred.
• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Experience or familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello).
• Interest in health technology or wellness-focused applications.
